ROSE HILLS, Los Angeles County — Families can visit the Día de los Muertos Community Altar at Rose Hills Memorial Park during its closing days, with the display scheduled to run October 24–November 3, 2026.
The event is located at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Mausoleum in the Mission Hills section of the memorial park, 3888 Workman Mill Road. The official events calendar also schedules an altar blessing for Monday, November 2 at 10 a.m., led by Father Eliseo of Saint Benedict Church.
What visitors should check
The altar is a place for families to remember loved ones and take part in the tradition of Día de los Muertos. The deadline for sending a photo to organizers was October 19, so visitors should not assume new photographs can still be added.
The cemetery generally opens from sunrise until sunset. Follow the park’s current rules for decorations, music and large gatherings. A scheduled ceremony does not guarantee that seating or special accommodations remain available without contacting the venue.
