ROSE HILLS, Los Angeles County — With Día de los Muertos bringing more visitors, Rose Hills Memorial Park advises families to review entry hours and on-site remembrance rules before arriving.
The cemetery at 3888 Workman Mill Road is normally open daily from sunrise to sunset. General business hours are listed as 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and the main assistance number is 562-699-0921.
Holiday visitation restrictions
For the October 31–November 2, 2026 holiday period, Rose Hills warned of heavy traffic and stated that large food tables and canopies are not permitted, while celebration music such as amplified Mariachi, Banda and Trio performances is restricted under the posted rules.
Visitors should follow instructions at the gate and verify the location of the grave or memorial they plan to visit. The cemetery spans a large area with internal roads; extra time may be needed during busy commemorations. These are the property’s rules, not countywide restrictions.
